What Is the Morse Code Audio Decoder?

The Morse code audio decoder converts a WAV audio file containing Morse code signals back into readable Morse code and text. Upload any WAV file recorded from our translator or another Morse code source, and the decoder will analyze the audio to extract the dots and dashes.

How to Use the Morse Code Audio Decoder

1. Drag and drop a WAV file onto the upload area, or click it to browse your files.
2. The decoder analyzes the audio and shows the Morse code and decoded text automatically.
3. Click the play icon to hear the decoded Morse code as audio beeps.
4. Use the copy icons to copy the Morse code or decoded text to your clipboard.

How Does Morse Code Audio Decoding Work?

The decoder uses the Web Audio API to analyze the WAV file in your browser. No audio is uploaded to any server; everything runs locally on your device. It works best with clean, synthesized WAV files, especially those generated by our Morse code translator.
